Throughout time the Aces of Spades has varied in design.

Numbers seen on Cards

Initially the design featured a company logo inside the spade shape which had a defined 3 pointed bottom. It has been seen with various numbers written below as well as blank (probably earlier).

This was modified to have a flatter bottom, still with the same logo inside the spade shape. I have not seen a blank one as all the cards in my collection feature a number.

The third numbered Ace changed the design and features a banner with the company name, and MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA at the bottom. Again, I have not seen a blank card as all the cards in my collection have a number.
